Chaos at Wilmington: A suspect shot by police after chasing high bets in a stolen vehicle – Mychesco

Wilmington, de -Wilmington drug investigation on January 28, 2025 led to firing an officer and arrest of a 32-year-old man facing numerous accusations.

At approximately 1:00 pm, drug officials, organized crime and deputy department of the Wilmington Police Department conducted a routine investigation near the 10th and Kirkwood streets. Authorities say that while trying to escape, Warren struck another vehicle and headed for two observers. Following a contract with the Court of Justice, Warren is faced with the following charges:

  • Two pieces of possession of a deadly weapon during committing a crime
  • Two numbers of reckless threatening of first degree
  • Receive a stolen property over $ 1,500
  • Possession of a controlled substance

He remains in custody for less than $ 50,505 a guarantee for money only.

The employee participating in the incident was unharmed and was put on administrative leave under the department’s protocol, as investigations from the Criminal Investigation Division, the Professional Standards Office and the Delueur Ministry of Justice continue.
