Changing the moratorium of car dealers in Sioux City will be read in third place – AOL

Sioux City, Iowa (KCAU) – Council members take another step towards a final cancellation of a six -month moratorium on the creation of new places for the sale of cars in the city.

The vote on Monday 3-2 sends the amendment to the regulation of third and final reading at the next meeting of the City Council.

Mayor Bob Scott said he wanted to hear if there were other plans to consider.

“As I said, the two members of the Council, if they have a different plan, at least have to present it to us and we can look at it and maybe make some changes, but if nothing changes, then the moratorium will end,” Mayor Scott said S

During the moratorium, which ended on November 9, city officials said they had identified 26 zoning violations among 67 car dealers in the city.
