MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – There are plenty of activities to enjoy in Madison this weekend to celebrate fall.
Sarah Warner with Destination Madison visited WMTV on Thursday to highlight several events that will include lots of free candy!
Brazilian samba night
On Thursdays, guests can visit the Working Draft Beer Company and celebrate Brazilian culture. Bloom Blaso Cakes will be serving Brazilian food including Brigadeiros, Coxinha and Brazilian Biscuits. Food will be served from 17:00 to 20:00. Afterwards, guests can enjoy samba in the toilet from 19:00 to 21:00
Ghost walk
From 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday, families are invited to come and celebrate Halloween in downtown Middleton. There will be a costume parade at Stone Horse Green. Kids can also use their creativity to decorate a treasure chest carrying goodies with Revel Madison. All events are free. Warner said many businesses will also offer discounts, candy and goodies to customers.
Art market
This weekend, the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art will host a free Art Market. It will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. More than 40 vendors will sell handmade art and specialty foods in the museum’s main galleries and lobby.
Hildale O-Winn
Hilldale will offer another chance to enjoy more free Halloween activities with the family on Sunday. From 3pm to 5pm, families can join Creando Exploratorium on The Green. Children will have the opportunity to enjoy activities such as pumpkin decorating, temporary tattoos, popcorn and treats. No pre-registration is required for this event. If you pre-register, you’ll be entered to win a prize basket.
