Celebrate #225 Day on February 25 at Baton Rouge – WAFB

Baton Rouge, La. (Wafb) – This is a big day for the town of Baton Rouge!

If you look at the calendar, today’s date, February 25 or 02/25, it spends 225, which is the area code for the red stick.

Over the last few years, the date has become an unofficial holiday among the natives, residents and transplants of Baton Rouge.

It’s a day to celebrate the rich and unique culture of the capital.

#225 Day began as a movement on social media. Residents published to celebrate the things they know and love for Baton Rouge. This impulse has even led to the creation of the long -awaited 225Fest, which will be held this weekend at the state fairs on Saturday, March 1 and Sunday, March 2.   • Situated in the heart of the center of Baton Rouge, the Capitol of Louisiana is the highest in the country, standing 450 feet high and high 34 stories.
