Sandra Rocha Taylor, one of the organizers of the event, says that the festival will include:

- Best Dressed Catherine and Katrina Contest

- Community altars honoring loved ones who have passed away, including a dedicated pet altar.
Rocha Taylor emphasizes the importance of keeping our culture alive, saying that understanding the meaning of these holidays helps pass on the love, honor and respect we give to those who have gone before us. This year, her family will honor their late dog along with all of their beloved pets.
