Catalan brothers and sisters to debut their second restaurant outside Spain in Scottsdale – Arizona Republic

Telefèric Barcelona, ​​a Spanish restaurant known for its PintXOS, Tapas and Paellas, is ready to be opened in Scotsdale this summer.

The restaurant was founded in 1992 in Catalonia of the Padrosa family, which are from the Basque region. Brothers and sisters Maria and Xavi worked at their mother’s restaurant until they branched and opened their own place in Barcelona.

Xavi, a professional tennis player, fell in love with the Bay area when he moved there to a scholarship and later decided to bring a taste to a home in California, where he and his sister then expanded.

Now the siblings are planning to make their debut in Arizona in Scottsdale, where they seek to offer a casual and lively atmosphere of eating with a modern intake of Spanish scents.

What about the Telefèric Barcelona menu

The menu is divided into tapas, plateau, green, pale and desserts.

Examples include:

  • Tapas: Iberian oysters made of freshly caught oyster with gas and Iberian ham and pulp Telephone, Octopus in a truffle style and Pimenthon mashed potatoes.
  • Pauli: Iberico pork paela, made with pork chops, pork belly, chicken and mushrooms.
  • Desserts: Churros Con Nutella and flange and coffee made of Spanish chocolate cookies on flanes and short bread.

The restaurant will offer wine, sangri, cocktails, layout and signature gin and tonics.
