RENESSELAER FALLS, N.Y. (WWNY) – Carol A. Stevenson, 76, of Congress Street, passed away Friday morning, October 25, 2024 at Champlain Valley Hospital Medical Center, Plattsburgh, NY.
Born August 4, 1948 in Gouverneur, NY to Harry and Julia Symonds Stevenson. Carol developed spinal meningitis when she was a baby and her parents cared for her until they were no longer able to. She has lived at United Helpers for the past 35 years.
Carol loved her magazines and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include a brother, Ray E. Stevenson, Theresa, NY, a sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Irving Champaign, Gouverneur, NY; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her parents, a sister, Donna Young, and two brothers, Dean Stevenson and Gil Stevenson, predeceased her.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Redwood Cemetery, Redwood, NY with Rev. Rachel Roberts officiating.
Arrangements are with Frederick Bros. Funeral Home, Theresa, NY.
