“This is no accident, it’s not a lightning. This is a reckless or malicious act, “Much told Laist.
He mentioned the fire in the park, which the fire authorities said it was placed in July by a man accused of pressing a burning car on a dere near Chico. It is reported that the fourth largest fire in the recorded history of the state.

Fire officers often indicate to neglect the bearing fires, the operational machines (as a defective mower), or the disposal of illuminated cigarettes in ways in which people can inadvertently light a dry brush.
But there are times when this is no accident. This is arson.
In 2022 and 2021, Cal Fire identified arson as a cause of more than 350 fires each year, according to the most published data of the department. The arson was the reason more often than the campfires, playing with fire, electricity, lightning and smoking.
But it was less than several other reasons, such as burning debris. In one of those years, 2021, there were more fires caused by vehicles – 419 – from arson.
The Kal Fire Board had more recent arson arrests. These arrests almost double Last year, compared to five years earlier. Last year, there were 111 arrests on suspicion of arson in the firefighters of Kal. In 2018 there were 61.
Within this five-year section, the most connected arrests associated with arson occurred in 2022, when there were 162, according to Cal Fire.
Muschetto attributes higher numbers, partly to video evidence captured on mobile phones and home security cameras.
“This allows us to identify those responsible for starting fires much more than we have succeeded in the past,” he said.
