When does BUC-EE come in St. Lucy County?

In January, BUC-EE presented a final plan on the site for a new location north of Fort Pierce.

Over a year of various district approvals, the final plan of the site is expected to be reviewed, which means that construction can start without the need for more votes of the district committee.

St. Lucy County spokesman Eric Gill said that on Thursday, the internal development review committee was planned to start browsing the plan this week or the next. Once approved by staff, BUC-EE employees have previously said that construction usually takes 12-15 months from the start of the doors.

With this timeline, the date of opening the BUC-EE on the shore of the treasures can be sometime in 2026.
