BRPD: 2 people hit while watching drag race; investigation underway – WAFB

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating after two people were struck by a vehicle early Monday morning, October 28th.

Around 1:50 a.m., officers responded to the 1900 block of North Flannery Road, not far from South Choctaw Drive. Police said two people were hit by a car while observing drag racing vehicles.

The couple was taken to hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not life-threatening.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of the Capital Region at 344-STOP (7867).
