Who and where: Joan and Tom McCoy and Adox Overcamp by St. Peters in the Devil Tower, Wyoming.
Traveling: The McCoy family says their great -grandson, Adox, loved to climb from a kid. Joan had climbed the Devil’s Tower in 2005 and thought it would be a great gift to graduate from high school for him.
Travel advice: Climbers can most often be seen on the tower and if you do not want to be one of them, there are paths from the visitors center around it that provide excellent views.
