Obituary
With great sadness, we announce the death of Brian Lloyd Jenks, who died on December 14, 2024 in Rino, Nevada.
Born in Woodland, California on February 4, 1947, in the family of the late Burdet and Ella (Farnam) Jenx, Brian lives with a glitter in his eyes and a wide smile. He grew up in Yolo, California, attends elementary school in Knobville and proudly serves as a volunteer firefighter at Yolo’s Fire Department. Brian graduated from Woodland high school in 1965, where he was a swimmer and a diver.
Brian visits Sacramento City College before receiving a position in National Cash Register. He spent decades of awarded a seller for Brown-Forman, Guild Winery and Southern Wine & Spirits, taking him to Pleanuton, California, Reno and Phoenix. Brian returned to Rino in 1992, where he was a successful broker and built dear friendships.
Brian’s adventure spirit takes him from the fields and streams of California to Aqulang dive in Bodega and Big Kayman – even trips across Ireland and Greece and skiing in the Alps. With his 1971 Bronco, he was the original modeaster, always ready to explore a 4 -wheeled path, and then entertain friends and family with his guitar around the campfire.
Brian has survived his ex -wife Marsha Mihalak Gorman, children Stacey Jenx Hershawer (Mike) and Dan Jenx (Kim); grandchildren Andrew, Leah and Paige Hershauer and Benri Jenx; Both brothers and sisters Linda Jenks, Sally Jenx Decor, Meribet Jenx Parker (Vince) and Eric Jenx (Wendy).
Private ash spraying will be carried out by the family in Bodega Bay.
