A 14-year-old boy cannot be baptized for legal reasons-today he returns to court, accused of killing 12-year-old Leo Ross in Hall Green, Birmingham.
Leo was stabbed near Lane Lane as he returned home from school last Tuesday (January 21st). He was taken to hospital but died that evening.
In a statement, his family said, “We want everyone to know what is incredible, sweet, loving boy Leo.
“Not only is Leo’s life taken, our whole life has too. Leo will be truly missed by all of us. He was loved so many of all.”
His Christ Church School, the Secondary Academy of the Church of England in Yardley Wood, issued a statement to say that the boy’s accused was not a student at the school.
The defendant appeared before the magistrates yesterday and today should appear in the Birmingham Coronian Court.
He has also been charged with six separate charges of attacking October, two of which include police officers.
These include:
- An attack of a woman on October 22
- Attack of two police officers on November 26
- A serious attack of a woman on January 19
- A serious attack of a woman on January 20
- Attack on a woman on January 21st
