Bowie State to compete in CIAA indoors championship of the track and field – BSU Bulldogs

Bowie, MD – The men’s and women’s teams of the Bowie State University will be preparing for the Central Inter -Opel Athletic Association in 2025 (CIAA) indoors and field championships. The Championship Meeting will be held on Sunday, February 16th to Monday, February 17th, on JDL’s fast track in Winston-Salem, NC

Bulldogs make progress throughout the season, with several athletes making personal records and qualified championship ratings. BSU has achieved a strong performance in its last meeting at Marlin Invitational. Several athletes recorded personal records and the team reached new charts of Division II.

On the part of the men, the Bulldogs saw excellent performances at many events. The 4x400m relay team provided top-three finish while Sprinter Marlin Newsome Jr. Connected personal best time in the 200-meter dash. Mid -distance runner Dominic Boston registers the best performance in the 400-meter cycle and jumper Robert Silinzi placed in the top ten in the long jump.
