Book Festival, Beer Festival and Forum Fête: 3 things to do this weekend in Baton Rouge – The Advocate

The 20th edition of the Louisiana Book Festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in downtown Baton Rouge around the State Library and Capitol. Author introductions, book signings, vendors, panels, presentations, a young readers’ pavilion, and more. Entrance free.

Help the animals

Sample a variety of local, national and international craft beers, house brews and food trucks at the Cap City Beer Fest from 2-5pm on Sunday at 4th Street and Spanish Town Road in Baton Rouge. It becomes gold

Forum 225 is celebrating its first 30 years with its official Forum Fête fundraising event, entitled The Golden Era. Enjoy food, an open bar, silent auction, music and entertainment with this group of young professionals who strive to make an impact and improve the community.
