Bonus podcast: This is almost Souper Bowl Time – Annapolis Eye

February 9 is a big day. While Super Bowl will be played in New Orleans, here in Annapolis, Souper Bowl is happening in the Baptist Church Heritage!

For 19 years, the community has been gathering to support the Center for the Prevention of Homeless Light House as hosting lunch in the community, including soup (of course), salad and bread. One hundred percent of donations are transmitted with the light house.

The whole community is welcome and the proposed donation of $ 10 will go a long way to help the homeless in our community this winter. If you can’t do the event – please consider donation (select Souper Bowl in the fall).

Brian Shalcross, GM of Chesapeake Baysox, has traded in his baseball bats for soup and will prepare three pile soups, his awarded chili and potato version for vegetarians among us!

A lot is happening on Sunday and this is the perfect way to start the day.
