The entire Boise State Esports program was also awarded a championship ring during the halftime of a recent Extra Mile Arena basketball game. Students, staff and special guests went out to the arena during the halftime of Boise State basketball game against Nevada, which took place on January 29th. Boise State Esports received rings for their victories in Mountain West Championship in Rocket League, Overwatch and Valorant.

Nineteen Varsiti players, along with Boise State Esports employees and special guests, attended the event. University employees such as President Dr Marlen Thromp and Director Dicky Dicky were awarded championship rings, as well as for their support for the Boise State Esports program. In addition, ICCU representatives, one of the largest partners of Boise State Esports, also received rings.
Boise State Esports had an incredible 2024 in Mountain West, winning the championship in many matches. From the focus were the fifth consecutive Broncos victory in the missile league and their championship victory at Football College 25, which took place the same day as the Mountain West Football Championship, which Broncos also won. In addition, some players have received recognition for certain individual achievements, such as the performance of the rocket team in the Collegiate Rocket League (CRL) tournament. Overall, the event was a great award for hard work players, set in the last year. The basketball game also ended with a positive note, with Broncos defeating the Wolf Pack 66-56.
