Stories in the small business of Idaho

A bench bench shop is just celebrating its 30th anniversary.

Georgia Wales-White opened Boise at best in 1994-and since then he has been creating beautiful floral arrangements for the Boise community.

From new babies to birthdays to sympathy and weddings, Boise at best is a full-service florist.

“We have kept the same perspective for all 30 years. We treat our customers as a family. I have couples who come for wedding flowers for which we have made prom and home flowers-said Boyz in our best owner and florist Georgia Wells-White. “We like to be part of the fabric of our community.”

Wales-White says Valentine’s Day is the busiest road of the store, followed by Mother’s Day.

“We will work for long hours and send hundreds of beautiful arrangements,” she said. “The red roses are still king for Valentine’s Day, but we send arrangements with mixed flowers.”

Wells-White says they will accept Valentine’s Day orders on Thursday 13th and possibly in the 14th.

“Flowers convey emotions. Nothing makes anyone feel as special as a beautiful bouquet, delivered, especially at work, “Wales-White said. “When you deliver to a large building with many people, it is amazing how the eyes follow the flowers. Our delivery drivers always hear, “Are these to me?”
