Alex English
Alex English left USC on top, becoming the first black athlete to participate in the school. He must have liked the feeling of being a leader, as he did again in the pros.
After 78 starts and 31 points per game like Dreher High Junior, he was sought by over 100 colleges. The little ahead eventually remained in his backyard, engaging in South Carolina.
English was described as the dream of the coach because of how well he was a player. Gamecocks legend has been named the All-American several times and held the career evaluation record while another home-made product, BJ McKie, did not accept it.
It was prepared by Milwaukee Bucks, but it will be Denver, where he became a staple of the NBA. He is still the leading goalkeeper of Nuggets and scored more points in the 1980s than anyone, including Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan. He was the first player in NBA history to score 2000 points for eight straight season.
After his career, Naismith’s fame remains in the sports industry. Today it can be seen as an analyst on NBA television. Wherever he is, he can be called the best person. The multiple top person, that is.
A’ja wilson
The smiles were everywhere in the Colonial Life Arena when A’Ja Wilson retired this year. As the best Dawn Staley product, it was a cherry on the Gamecocks Idol cake.
If you have not followed, Wilson has always been this skillful. It all started at the Episcopal School Heathwood Hall, where the attacker was unguarded. It is an average of about 25 points and 13 struggles per match and was announced as the National High School of the Year in 2014 by Naismith, Parade and WBCA. She has set the Basketball Basketball standard for Girlswood Hall and has inspired other players to follow her steps.
Next: Gamecocks. Before Staley became “Wilson’s second mother, she was the head coach of the seventh years, trying to turn South Carolina into a jungle. The USC improvement was there, but the head coach just needed this piece to collect everything.
