Jones was one of the most viable recruits in the early days of Saban with Crimson Tide. His engagement proved that Alabama would be a major player under Nick Saban in dialing the path. During his freshman, Jones proved why he was one of the best recruits in the country and why Saban was smart to commit to the commitment of the best player in Alabama.

Alabama was 7-6 years earlier, the first under Nick Saban, then Alabama introduced a staff recruitment class in which Julio Jones, Dont’a Hightower, Barrett Jones, Terrence Cody and Mark Ongram participated.

As a real freshman in 2008, Jones was the leading successor immediately after the campus. He captured 58 misses for 924 yards and four touchdowns – all leading the Purple Tide in 2008.

In 2009, Jones was again a leader in the Crimson Tide game, grabbing 43 missed for 596 yards and four touchdowns. Jones plays an important role in the victory of the National Alabama Championship over Texas in Rose Bowl, leading Alabama in receiving yards, despite only one catch – 23 yards, receiving in the game.

Despite the lack of success in the 2010 record, it was probably Jones’ most influential season in Alabama, grabbing 78 missed for 1133 yards and seven touchdowns.

After his days in Alabama, Jones joined the NFL project as a junior from Alabama, composed of 6 of the Atlantic Falcons.

In NFL, Jones was one of the most dominant players in NFL history. Over 13 years in NFL, he caught 914 missed for 13 703 yards and 66 touchdowns.

He also added 163 yards, rushing.

Jones ended his career as # 16 for all time at NFL in the reception of yards and No. 61 for all time in touchdown.

Jones made a Super Bowl appearance in his career, grabbing four passes for 87 yards, including several catch, which made television operators and fans say “what in the world”.

The impact of Jones goes beyond his star game on the football field.

Jones’ desire to be remembered exceeds receptions, yards, touchdown, wins and titles.

The Make a Diffry Everyday Foundation is one of Jones’ main missions that is to change in the community.

“The mission of the created (make the difference every day) the Sports Foundation is to provide support to all young people, focusing on their physical, social and educational well -being.

Jones not only gives a way for young athletes to develop their skills, but he also returns to the area, which gave him his initial start – Aarville Park in Foley, Alabama.

In 2021, Jones hosted a huge toy gift, for families in South Baldwin County. From bicycles to sports goods, everything a child may want is accessible with the kind assistance of Jones.

The “Maintenance of Jones Maintenance” event has seen former Crimson Tide superstar to unite with rappers Lil Baby and Polow DA DON to return to the Julio Community. Jones’ mother – Queen Marvin – took orders from children and families while helping the event go smoothly in 2021. Queen Marvis said that until the event was completed, more than a thousand families were affected by the scope of the former NFL star.
