BJCC completes $ 5 million Facelift for Sheraton’s lobby in Uptown – Bham Now

Today, the Birmingham-Jeffson Civil Center (BJCC) has announced the completion of a complete lobbying transformation of the lobby of five million dollars at the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel in Uptown.

In August 2024, Bham now announced that BJCC has large plans for the lobby of Sheraton Birmingham. After a few months, BJCC has officially discovered the new hotel lobby.

According to a press release, the design uses “rich colors and textures to create a sophisticated design with southern charming twist” and includes fine nodes of local landmarks such as Vulcan Park, Alabama theater and Slosse Purnaces.

“The transformation of the lobby also serves as a dynamic center for the introduction of Sheraton gatherings.

The processed layout of the area has a vital color palette, a captivating art installation and modern tables for the community, covering the art of gathering and offering a home base for guests to work, drink, enjoy and find inspiration.

This update further enhances the role of the lobby as our central collection point. “

One of the main highlights of the renovated lobby is more than sheraton, a new restaurant with a signature with options for dining in the courtyard. Guided by chef Marcus Williams, Sheraton Birmingham and will still have a menu inspired from the south with dishes like:
