BIRmingham PD specialized teams make 56 arrests in February repression – the Alabama News Leader

Birmingham Police Department has announced its Specialized Application TeamsThey made 56 arrests in the first week of February, showing their commitment to public safety.

From February 3 to February 825, the Tactical Division Crime Department and the Special Executive Authorities (SET) team conducted numerous operations leading to significant law enforcement actions.

The tactical crime suppression department reports six arrests of crimes and two arrests for violations. Employees made 157 traffic stops, issued 154 quotes, seized three firearms and restored one stolen vehicle.

The special execution team made 32 arrests of crimes and 16 offenses. They made 41 traffic stops, issued 27 quotes, seized 11 firearms – two of which were stolen – and towed or recovered 16 vehicles, including one stolen.

In Addition to These Efforts, The Teams Seized A Substantial Amount of Narcotics, Including 697.01 GRAMS OF MARIJUANA, 9.93 GRAMS OF METHAMPEMIN Etic Marijuana, 1.06 GRAMS OF ECSTASY PILLS, 1.06 GRAMS oxycodone pills and 0.50 grams of carizoprodol pills. Authorities also seize $ 1.504.55.
