Birmingham Football Club Aston Villa Honor Ozzy Osbourne with Epic Banner Display – ROVA.NZ

The Birmingham Football Club Aston Villa came out to honor Ozzie Osborne on Wednesday night (January 29), paying tribute to the rock legend and a fellow villa all life with a massive banner before the Champions League match.

Just before the start, a giant show was revealed to the Prince of Darkness himself, placed against a packed crowd, radiating “Asle, Azle, Asle” -fraza of the classic chant of Aston Villa fans. The banner also showed the words “Up the villa” around Ozzy’s head as well as phrases “Every week we follow …”., “Villa until I die”and Claret and Blue Army around the border.

Ozzie, who grew up in the Aston area in Birmingham, has been a firm fan of the villa for years, along with his Black Sabbath teammate Geezer Butler.

Aston Villa explained the tribute, saying: “A club holiday of the club with global attractiveness and a local heart rhythm, the Prince of Darkness embodies Aston Origins Aston Origins, overcoming the worlds of rock and football.

“A living legend that, like fans of the villa, brings its claret and blue pride through the borders. Together we celebrate our roots, our passion and our relentless pursuit of glory. “

And the flag must have helped – Aston Villa eventually defeated Celtic 4-2 to bet on the last 16 of the Champions League.

Last year, Sharon Osborne revealed that Ozzie hoped to play a good -faced concert in Birmingham Villa Park to say “Goodbye” to fans.

A few months later, Geezer said that he and Ozzie “agreed” to gather for one last concert, but that will depend on whether the other members are lit.

We have not heard anything else about this alleged last Saturday concert – but how good would that be?
