Debbie Gilbert, a member of Bicester Triathlon Club, completed the race on Sunday (November 3) in four hours 50.16 minutes, two minutes faster than Chris Evans, presenter of The Chris Evans Breakfast Show on Virgin Radio, formerly of BBC Radio Two.
She said the race was “very bumpy” with five bridges and an uphill finish.

A number of Bicester Triathlon Club members also ran the Cornbury Cross Country on Sunday.
Claire Stiles did it in 56.11 minutes, Joan Hooks in 56.13 minutes, Darran Shepherd in 36.30 minutes and Graham Hazleton in 44.35 minutes.
Steph Harrison, another member of the club, also completed the New York Virtual Marathon, walking and running more than 100km in seven days.
