Betty Jane Levenburg, 83 – Port City Daily

Wilmington-Betty Roberts Levenburg, a covenant wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, 1941, in Wilmington she lives a life full of love and dedication to her family and community.

Betty was a dedicated member of the Presbyterian Church of Pearsall, and later the Presbyterian Church of Vitania, where her faith and kindness touched many. In a professional way, she contributed to her talent in the customer service department in JC Penney, where her heat and dedication were highly appreciated by colleagues and clients.

Outside of her professional life, Betty found joy in the art of knitting and crossed stitch, creating beautiful pieces that reflect her patience and creativity. Her family treated these handmade memories that will continue to inspire and comfort them.

Betty is preceded by death by her beloved parents Vivian and James Roberts and her dear daughter Thierney Leveburg.

She has survived her a committed husband, Wilton Liovenburg, her loving son Dennis and her valuable grandchildren: Ashley Hunter, Haley Hunter, Caitlin Hunter and John Regan. Her heritage continues with her great -granddaughter Cameron Jane Hunter. She also survived her sister Patsy Farrow, nephews, Chris Jackson, Seth Farrow and Brandon Farrow and Uncle Bob Miller, who will all convey their memory with love.

The presence of Betis in the life of those who knew her is a source of strength and compassion. Her family and friends will deeply miss her gentle spirit and loving nature.

The post -service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, February 7, 2025 at the Presbyterian Church in Betania 2237 Castle Hayne Road, Wilmington NC 28401.
