Arizonans have a choice this November – either continue to send extremists to Congress or elect Democrats like Amish Shah who are ready to get real results and move our state forward.
Dr. Shah, an emergency room physician and former member of the Arizona House of Representatives, has worked to reduce health care costs by opposing big pharma. During her time in the legislature, Dr. Shah reduced barriers to HIV testing and worked to improve postpartum care for women. Dr. Shah is willing to fight for the things Arizonans care about because he has for years.
David Schweikert has been in Congress since 2013 and has only fought for the interests of billionaires and hurt our working class families. As Arizonans struggle to keep up with rising costs, Schweikert and the Republican Study Committee voted to cut billions in funding for Social Security and Medicare for Arizona’s seniors. When legislation was introduced that invested millions in Arizona’s broadband and infrastructure workforce development, Schweikert voted against it. David Schuickert also co-sponsored the Life at Conception Six Act, which would ban abortion nationwide and threaten access to IVF. He then used Arizonan tax dollars to send letters boasting his anti-abortion record.
The contrast between Dr. Shah and David Schwickert could not be clearer. As Schwickert realizes his time is running out, Dr. Amish Shah is ready to go to Congress and fight for Arizonans.
Arizonans have the power to decide who controls the US House of Representatives this November and what President Kamala Harris can accomplish. We must vote Amish Shah to lower costs for Arizonans, protect our abortion rights, and ensure the future of Arizonans’ water.
