Love Island host Maya Jama, who hosts an annual star-studded Halloween party, kept up her high costume standards by creating a special Beetlejuice outfit for October 31.
Instead of wearing the heroine’s classic black and white striped suit, she modernized it in an off-the-shoulder blazer dress, which she paired with matching stockings and black high heels.
To complete the look, she wore a glowing green curly wig to portray the hair of the character that actor Michael Keaton recently reprized in the 2024 Beetlejuice sequel.
Along with a series of photos of the costume posted on Instagram, Jama wrote: “Beetlejuice’s rebellious niece. Happy Halloween. I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT TONIGHT.”
American socialite Paris Hilton emulated Britney Spears’ outfit in the Baby One More Time music video, wearing a tied white shirt, gray cardigan, gray pleated skirt and a classic bobbed hairdo.
She shared multiple photos of herself posing in the costume next to pink school lockers and in a classroom on Instagram, writing: “This is Britney’s bitch. I love you icon @BritneySpears”
Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran had fun with his costume by dressing up as a viral meme of himself wearing a fluffy brown monkey bodysuit.
He shared a photo of himself bent over a table while holding a phone that showed a photo of him in a similar look, writing: “Haters gonna say its AI #halloweenbruv #feltcutemightdeletelater.”
Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards transformed into fellow pop star Lady Gaga as she dressed her son Axel to look like Bruno Mars.
Their costume paid homage to the look the singers sported in the music video for their new collaborative song Die With A Smile.
Reality TV star Molly-May Hague transformed into a wolf from Little Red Riding Hood for Halloween, while her daughter Bambi, who she shares with ex-fiancé Tommy Fury, was dressed as the girl in red popularized by the Brothers Grimm.
The former Love Island contestant shared a photo on Instagram of herself wearing a brown fairytale granny dress and big wolf paws as she posed for a photo with Bambi.
“But grandma… what big hands you have,” the 25-year-old influencer wrote.
Her former partner Fury went for a Freddy Krueger look, complete with scarred face and mechanical arm.
American singer Janelle Monae, YouTuber Amelia Diemoldenberg, British singer and presenter Myleene Klass and the stars of Channel 4’s Countdown also celebrated the spooky time of year.
Klass, who rose to fame with the band Hear’Say, opted for a classic version of the Wonder Woman outfit, complete with long boots and a bodysuit in blue, red and gold.
She shared a video of her transformation in one post, writing: “Happy Halloween to all my wonder women. You may be a quick wonder woman, but no one can be in two places at once. And yet we are.”
Diemoldenberg completely changed her appearance as Administrator Roz from Pixar’s Monsters Inc.
She shared a series of photos of the makeover look on Instagram, in which her hair was pulled up into a purple spike and the dress resembled the body of a slug-like monster.
Next up was Monae, who portrayed the extraterrestrial from Steven Spielberg’s classic film ET: The Extra-Terrestrial.
A post on her Instagram showed the singer in a number of outfits as the alien, including one that featured a Kamala Harris badge.
Another video showed her in the costume with a glowing chest and finger, just like in the movie.
Countdown star Rachel Riley dressed up as 1950s film star Marilyn Monroe on the set of the Channel 4 game show. She wore a pink dress with silver spider details and a silver necklace, while other stars of the series including Colin Murray and Susie Dent, were dressed as monsters.
TV presenter Jamie Laing dressed as Carl Fredrickson from the Pixar film Up, with his wife Sophie Habu dressed as the character Russell.
A video posted on Instagram shows Habu speaking as Russell, with balloons tied to her back, before the camera pans out to reveal Laing as the elderly Carl.
Actor Zooey Deschanel dressed up as Angie Katsanevas from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and her fiance Jonathan Scott dressed up as Wolverine.
Katsanevas even responded to Deschanel’s post, saying, “God, little Bo the Greek is shaking in her bonnet right now.
“Zoo, it’s an honor. You are an icon. The Greek Mafia loves you.”
The cast of This Morning all dressed up as an array of characters with hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary as the Bride of Frankenstein and Frankenstein’s Monster.
Will Best also appeared on the morning show dressed as a werewolf.
