The Bede Institute of Sport and Education is delighted to announce the continuation of its ISE Women’s Football Academy partnership with Barclays Women’s Championship side Durham Women FC.
We will be hosting a series of trainings to identify talent in the field who can be part of Bede 6th Form college academy.
You’ll find more information about our AOC and ESFA teams, our pathway to Durham Women FC, including the WSL Academy team and potential NFYL team.
Scholarships will be available which include kit packs and information on the Performance Support Package including tailored strength and conditioning programs in our new athlete lab, free workshops on physiotherapy, nutrition and sports psychology.
The session will give you an insight into the facilities, coaching level and aspirations to help footballers in the local area progress into semi-professional and professional football.
The partnership will provide aspiring footballers from the Tees Valley area with the opportunity to further their education as well as train and play semi-professionally for Durham Women FC or represent Bede Sixth Form College in AOC and ESFA competitions.
Established in 2018, the Bede Institute of Sport and Education strives to support young athletes through their academic studies by offering over 4 hours of on-field training and a personalized strength and conditioning program, free physical therapy, all as part of the schedule of the students.
We currently offer the following academic programs alongside your Football Academy programme: A-Level or full-time professional courses in Sports Training and Development, Sports and Exercise Science, Policing, Uniformed Services or Level 2 Sport.
