Beauty Boss & The Ivy, Gilbert, AZ: Photo Tour – Health Design

Beauty Boss & The Ivy, Gilbert, Arizona

Beauty Boss Injection Studio and The Ivy, an upscale intravenous (IV) salon offering IV therapy and injections for health and wellness, are located together in Gilbert, Arizona.

Beauty Boss includes a retail area, a waiting area, private injection rooms, a VIP treatment room and a private office and training room. The Ivy includes a waiting room, cafeteria and IV lounge.

Clinic features inspired by hospitality

Owner Denise Walsh, master injector and founder of Beauty Boss & The Ivy, worked with interior design firm House of Form (Phoenix) to deliver a hospitality-inspired aesthetic for the 3,000 square feet, drawing inspiration from Italy’s Amalfi Coast.

The exterior design of the Beauty Boss and The Ivy are distinct from each other and are created to match the color palette reflecting each interior space. For example, The Ivy has a green exterior that complements the flooring in the entrance.

In addition, Beauty Boss has an arched entrance that is repeated in the interior corridors.

Creating a distinctive clinic interior

Inside, design details include an undulating soffit that is wrapped in wood-like trim in The Ivy. The archway lighting at Beauty Boss adds depth and drama to the archways leading to the injection suites.

The nurse’s island at The Ivy doubles as medical storage and is designed as an intentional “kitchen island” with a decorative waterfall-edged stone countertop and an eye-catching chandelier.

The choice of furniture and materials was chosen to balance health and cleanliness requirements and the desire not to feel like an institutional medical center. Features include gold stainless steel medical tables with brass finishes in the injection sets.
