Bear Mcwhorter announces Top Five, Date of engagement – includes South Carolina – Sports Illustrated

Bear Mcwhorter, which has been an offensive liner since 2026, announced its last five and included Gamecocks in South Carolina.

After the 2025 dialing class is closed, the attention is now shifted to the 2026 cycle. Gamecocks in South Carolina has brought a solid group of players in this last class and they will strive to do the same next year. One of their best offensive goals, Bear Mcwhorter has released its last five schools, and Gamecocks in South Carolina has made the abbreviation.

Together with South Carolina, Florida, Michigan, Clemson and Alabama, they also made a cut. Mcwhorter is rated as a three-star perspective, the 437th best player in the class, the 38th Best Internal Offensive Linman and the 46th Best Player in Georgia, according to Composite Rankings. Gamecocks expanded the Georgia native proposal last March.

Mcwhorter has also announced that he will engage on February 28 this month.

South Carolina already has five players engaged in the 2026 dialing class with Anthony Baxter, who has already been carried out as an internal offensive liner.
