Batton Rouge driver killed in a crash at night, say soldiers – wafb

Acadia Parish, La. (WAFB) – A two -vehicle crash took the life of a Baton Rouge driver early on Sunday morning, February 9, soldiers said.

According to State Police in Louisiana, the crash happened shortly after midnight on the I-10 west near Trump Road in the Acadia parish. The 58 -year -old Luvenon Sowel was killed.

Before the crash happened, Sowel was driving Honda Accord on I-10 behind Kenworth semiconductor, Troopers reported. They added that after stopping due to a previous crash, Kenvort was hit from the back by Honda.

Sowel was declared dead at the scene of the crash, according to LSP. Authorities said Kenvort’s driver was not injured.

The crash remains in the process of investigation.
