Flags honoring veterans
In honor of local veterans, banners depicting veterans connected to East Baton Rouge families will be displayed along our downtown Baton Rouge streets. These flags symbolize the community’s deep respect and gratitude, serving as a powerful visual reminder of the dedication and sacrifices of our local heroes.
“This Veterans Month, we honor not only the veterans who have bravely served our country, but also the families and caregivers who support them every day,” said Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome. “Through initiatives like Hidden Heroes and the Veterans Tribute Banners, Baton Rouge proudly reaffirms its commitment to serving and supporting our military community.”
