Baton Rouge Doctor selected as the Saints Fans of the Year, gifted Super Bowl tickets to attend the game on Sunday – WBRZ

Baton Rouge – The love of local doctor Dr. Jonathan Roberts for New Orleans Saintly won him once in his life as he won the Saints NFL Year of the Year. Together with the title, he receives a free trip to the Super Bowl and several related events throughout the week.

Each NFL team selects a fan every year. Fans receive free tickets for Super Bowl, hotel accommodation and other Super Bowl Week activities.

“At first I was sinking, I decided it was a joke, and after talking to the representative of the saints, the more I realized that it was not, and I said” Oh my God, I go to the superbrow, “Roberts said.

Roberts told WBRZ that he was surprised to be nominated.

“I had no idea that someone nominated me for the fans of the year. One day I received a phone call that I was selected as a Saints of the year. The next thing I knew was getting a call to increase from Cam Jordan,” he said.

Roberts is a fan of the saints because he was only 5 years old and says that black and gold have been running through his veins since the saints played in Tulan.

“I remember sitting with my father, and he and I watched the game together, I remember that I even cheered on the saints, even when I was five years old, I just had a ball,” he said.

Throughout his life to be a fan of the saints, Roberts said he could not remember the last time he missed a home game of the saints. While this trip to the Super Dome will not be in support of black and gold, it is excited to make memories for life.

“This is a memory that I will appreciate for the rest of my life, because it was something that not every middle football fan should do,” he said. “I’m just very lucky and very blessed to experience my dream of attending a Super Bowl, especially as a Fan of the Year of New Orleans Saints.” he said.
