Baton Rouge, La. (First Louisiana) – a bartender in the hidden gem of the Baton Rouge restaurant was declared a semi -finalist as a James Beerda Award in 2025.
The prestigious culinary award recognizes the best in the restaurant industry from exquisite dining to everyday establishments. The semi -finalists are recognized as 25 categories of prizes. New categories this year: the best new bar, an exceptional professional in the drink service and an exceptional professional in cocktail service.
Alan Walter, a bartender at Brake’s bar in Batton Rouge, was named semi -finalist in the new exceptional professional in the cocktail category. The bar is located inside the Spoke & Hub on Mid City on the government street.
