Birmingham -based sports retailer, Chibet, has elected a new CEO.

According to SGB Media, Jared Brisink, the former CEO, inherits Mike Longo, who has run the company since December 2019.

Attempts to contact Hibet for comment were not immediately successful.

Previously, Bridan was in various roles and was the executive vice president of the company of trade last year when Hibet was acquired by the United Kingdom -based JD Sports in a deal totaling $ 1.08 billion.

JD Sports, with over 4,500 stores worldwide, said the main revenue fell by 1.5% in November and December in what it calls a “challenging and variable market”, according to Reuters.

Britskan began his career with Chibet as a buyer of clothing at college in 1998 and served in several options for supervision of clothing, accessories, shoes, equipment and merchandising.
