Barclays apologizes after customers cannot gain access to accounts online – Irvine Times

Customers said they failed to enter their bank accounts online or through their mobile applications.

It comes on the day of payment for many people in the UK, the last Friday of the month.

Barclays has confirmed that some features of its application and online banking service have been influenced, causing payments problems both in and outside the bills.

Some Barclays customers on social media have said they have not received salaries and failed to pay the landlords as a result.

In response to a client of X, the bank said: “I am really sorry for the inconvenience caused.

“Today we have some problems with our systems and you may have problems using some features in our app, online banking, and payments in and outside your accounts.”

Down Detector’s website has shown more than 1,200 messages that Barclays banking services have declined in recent hours.

Barclays spokesman said: “We are aware that some of our customers are experiencing problems using some features in our app, online banking and with payments in and outside their bills.

“We are sorry for this and we are working hard to fix the problem.

“If we decide, we will notify our customers.”
