It has been over five years since Florida has hired Mike Norvel of Memphis to be his main coach. The Seminols were pushed into an unexpected search after continuing by Willie Tagart after less than two full seasons and eventually put Norvel after his impressive resumption in Memphis.
Many FSU fans have tried to forget the short era of Taggart, but the man who replaced Jimbo Fisher is still making a career in the coaching ranks. Taggart has spent the last two seasons at NFL with Baltimore Ravens and seems to be intending to stay at a professional level.
On Friday, Ravens announced numerous changes to their staff, including promoting Taggart to an assistant -chief coach. He adds his duties along with his role as a trainer of running back.

The star was running Derrick Henry joined Ravens last season and had one of the best seasons of her career. Henry rushed 325 times for 1921 yards and 16 touchdowns, an average of 5.9 yards per transfer. The veteran even praised Tagart for his help during Baltimore’s playoff victory against Pittsburgh Steelers.
Tagart works under the head coach John Harbo, who is Jim Harbo’s brother. Tagart spent time with Jim Harbo in Stanford since 2007-09, when the latter was the priority coach.
Following as a head coach in West Kentucky, USF and Oregon, Tagart was hired as the successor of Jimbo Fisher. In 2018, Seminoles saw that their next Bowl Game game from 36 years ended when the team finished 5-7. The strip is still a FBS recording to this day. Tagart was fired from Florida before the end of the 2019 season, drawing up a total record of 9-12, including 0-5 brands against Florida, Miami and Clemson.
Tagart quickly landed as a head coach in Florida Atlantic. The owls chose to part with Tagart after their third season. He ended with a record of 15-18 and missed the ease for his last two years in Boca Raton.
Florida won the ACC championship in 2023 behind Norvel and his staff. Seminoles seek to bounce after Campaign 2-10 last fall.
