The life and work of a beloved prize author is at the heart of a new book written by her great-Plemennica-who happens to be a support in the scene of the arts and culture of Palm Beach County.

Author Julie Gilbert will present her new book, Giant Love for the Natural Pulitzer Prize and playwright, Ferber, at the events this month at the Cow’s Center for Cravis and the Palm Beach Book Store.

Ferber’s 1952 Ferber novel “giant” has become a dispute over its great depiction of the brutal treatment of Mexican workers. In Giant Love, Gilbert provides an inner look at Ferber’s process in writing “The Giant” and the creation of the film to award the 1956 Academy, based on the novel, according to a news message.

Gilbert is known locally for the leading Annual Academy of Winter Writers in the center of cows. As Ferber’s great-Plemen, Gilbert had “unique access to the writer’s treasure trove of personal letters, interviews and magazines, from which she carefully designed the new book,” publicists said.

Gilbert will first discuss his book at 5:30 pm on Wednesday at the Khoury Family Rehearsal Hall in the center of Kravis, 701 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach. Admission is free. To book a place, go to kravis.org.

Gilbert will then present “Giant Love” at 17:00 February at a book store in Palm Beach, 215 Royal Pociana Way, Palm Beach. Registration is free and encouraged but not required. To register in advance, go to ThePalMbeachbookstore.com.
