(Thurman)-a woman from the Atlantic is in custody of numerous accusations following a crash with strikes in Fremont County.
Fremont County Sheriff says MPs were called to Thurman around 6:30 pm on Friday after a call stated that a vehicle had hit a parked truck and escaped from the scene. Around 7 pm, the MPs deployed Ford Escape for 2016 with damage from the front end, which entered the ditch in the 1500 block on the 275 highway.
Authorities arrested the driver-45-year-old Leslie Evans. The sheriff’s service says Evans told authorities that he believed he was close to Fontanel, about 90 miles from the scene of the crash. She was accused of OUI – 3rd or subsequent crime, leaving the place of an accident in property damage and the operation of a vehicle without a blocking device.
She was kept in Fremont County Prison.
