Athens Rock Omari worship Baton Rouge Zydeco 3-0 at home – red and black

Rock lobsters in Athens won all three matches this weekend over Baton Rouge Zydeco, exceeding their opponents 13-3.

During the Friday night match, Baton Rouge struck first, before the attackers, Keson Gallant and Okra Weisblat to score for rock lobster, taking 2-1 after the first period. Carter Shinkaruk scored in the second period to extend the lead for Athens, and defender Michael Greco scored with an empty network to seal a 4-1 win. Rock lobster goalkeeper Josh Rosenzweig stood strong, saving 19 out of 20 shots, facing The victory.

The game on Saturday night was a monumental franchise “Young Rock Omari” as they recorded their first official crowd for sale in the new Akins Ford Arena. The team also hosted “Paste it on Cancer Night”, with the team wearing a special purple T -shirt for the occasion.

Again, Zydeco scored first and this time holds the lead by 1: 0 until the end of the first period. In the second period, rock lobsters answered two goals respectively by Gareth Milan and Kason Gallant.

Zydeco then scored one second left in the second period to tie the game in two. Rock lobsters took immediate control in the third period, but eventually scored four times, including two of the attacker Danil Gluharev to provide a 6-2 win.

The two teams cut the washer once more on Sunday. After an unsuccessful first period, the goal of Malik’s second period of Malik Johnson gave rock lobster his first 1-0 lead for the weekend.

Philip Virgili scored another goal in the third period, and Okrka Weissblat scored a goal with an empty network to limit the 3-0 and three Zydeco matches. Dominic Rodrig has started on the Athens network after Rosenzweig played in the first two, recording only at his second start of the year.

The three victories helped rock lobsters skip several teams in the standings, now sitting in third place on the continental FPHL division with even more matches than any other team. Rock lobsters, who are already four matches, will return right to the Akins Ford Arena for their next game on Wednesday night against the Dragons Columbus River.
