Asui tells details of a successful legislative trip with an ambassador to Boise – Argonaut

ASUI met on January 29, still recovering from his long days to the legislator trip to Boyze on January 24-26. Organized by President Marta Smith and Director of Legislative Affairs Brant sites, 25 students have been able to view legislative proceedings in the capital of the state firsthand.

The architect will visit the campus February 4-5 to discuss potentially expanding the student recreation center. Smith encouraged ASUI to talk to him, if possible, stating the importance of the contribution of the students to the design. The project is calculated to be completed in 10-15 years.

Two bills, the S25-R03 and the S25-R04 were adopted, which will provide funding for the purchase of tickets for the gala of black achievements and the taste of Nepal, respectively. Both bills were adopted unanimously by the Senate.
