Wilmington’s police detectives have made a pair of arrests in connection with the murder of the cold case in 2019.
22-year-old Dion Young and 22-year-old Ameer Dunn were accused by a large jury of killing 67-year-old James Pinkett in a 1300 block on Eastern 29th Street, on December 28, 2019.
Police claim that Young was also suspected of two other firing incidents, including one on December 24, 2019, in which a 20-year-old man was hospitalized.
Young has already been held in an unrelated incident, but is now lingering with a $ 1.5 million cash guarantee on the following fees:
- Murder (first degree)
- Attempted murder (first degree) – 6 pieces
- Possession of a firearm during committing a crime -11
- Conspiracy (first degree) – two pieces
- Reckless threatening (first degree) – four pieces
- Conspiracy (second degree) – three pieces
- Possession of a firearm by a person prohibited – three pieces
- Wearing a disguise while committing a crime – two charges
- Receive a stolen property over $ 1,500
Dunn was arrested in Houston, Texas, extradited back to Delaware and is now being held on a $ 866,000 cash guarantee on the following fees:
- Murder (first degree)
- Attempted murder (first degree) – 3 pieces
- Possession of a firearm during committing a crime – 7 pieces
- Conspiracy (first degree)
- Conspiracy (second degree) – two pieces
- Reckless threatening (first degree) – three pieces
- Possession of a firearm by a person prohibited
- Wearing a disguise while committing a crime
- Receive a stolen property over $ 1,500
