Arrest Report: The man from North Las Vegas has turned for a supposedly killed girlfriend – the National Bureau

A man from North Las Vegas has become police on Sunday for being claimed to have killed his girlfriend during a battle, according to an arrest report.

North Las Vegas police said Markeem Benson was arrested on suspicion of murder for Fatal shooting of 33-year-old Renice WolfeS

In his arrest report, NLVPD said Benson’s father called 911 at about 10:16 Sunday, December 22, saying Benson wanted to join for murder. Benson was heard against the backdrop of the call, saying, “It happened last night,” but he didn’t know how long because he had fallen asleep.

Employees met with Benson out of restaurant and took him in custody. He told the police that his girlfriend was in a nearby apartment and they found Wolfe suffering from an apparent firearm wound. The medical staff declared her dead in place.

Police wrote that they had found a gun and a magazine near it. Benson was arrested and refused to speak with detectives.

His father told detectives that Benson called, saying, “I killed her; I think I killed her “and” I told him something about the effect of “she” came to him with a gun, had some “tussle” and then the pistol went out, “the report said.

NLVPD writes that Benson’s brother also called 911, saying that Benson had told him that he had encountered his girlfriend and “did something bad.”

Wolfe’s family told police that the two were dating July and last saw them at a family festive party on Saturday, December 21, where they first looked normal. It seems that Benson recognizes a woman who later arrived but sparked a dispute.

Detectives learned more about his relationship, with one person saying that Benson was “very possessing” and had physical matches in the past, according to the report. A check of records found that he had preliminary convictions for an attempt at robbery and invasion of the home, plus a few arrests for offenses related to domestic violence.

Police checked a video for the observation and found a video from a bell camera, which recorded two to four pops around 1:20.

“Markeem said he was asleep after the shooting, and the police had not been notified almost nine hours after the shooting,” the report said.

In their analysis of the scene where Wolfe’s body was found, detectives note that the shots appear to have been fired from a corner while Wolfe is on the ground.

“This means that Markeem would stand over the top of Renise as he fired in this circle,” the report said.

Benson is held without guarantee in the North Correctional Center of the Community in Las Vegas. He was officially appointed Thursday and sentenced to return for a preliminary hearing on January 30th.

Two people related to the case went into a dispute after the hearing, with the court marshes seeing that they had to keep someone.
