Marcus T. Johnson is facing numerous accusations after shooting an Interstate 64 driver in Norfolk over the weekend.
Norfolk, Washington – a man from Hampton has been faced with numerous accusations after he supposedly shot an Interstate 64 driver in Norfolk.
Virginia State Police (VSP) said around 15:15. Saturday, January 25, by a man who says he was shot while driving west on I-64 near Norview Avenue. The victim was driving a blue sedan of Kia Stinger when someone in an unknown vehicle started firing at his car.
The victim came out of the interstate on Chesapik Boulevard and called the police. The victim suffered a life -threatening injury and was taken to a general hospital in Norfolk.
On Thursday, VSP said 30-year-old Marcus T. Johnson was arrested after an investigation.
Police said Johnson was accused of the following:
- Wounded wounding
- Shooting from an occupied vehicle to endanger a person
- Firing in an occupied vehicle
- Reckless handling of a firearm
- A criminal possessing ammunition
- A criminal possessing a firearm
- Disposal of firearms in a public place
- Shooting through a roadway (5 pieces)
Currently, Johnson is kept without a bond in the city of Chesapik.
