Isaiah Navarro Arizona would be arrested predator after a 14-year-old Glendale girl tricked a man into giving him her mother’s number after following her in a car, leading to a graphic sex with police and the man’s arrest in a settlement “meeting”.
A quick-thinking 14-year-old Arizona teenage girl outwitted a would-be predator when she gave him her mother’s cellphone number instead of her own, leading the pervert to unwittingly exchange graphic text messages with police.
The unidentified teenager was walking home from school when their paths crossed Isaiah Navarro like him “cruise” in g.k Glendale on October 16, according to Glendale Police Department in a Facebook edition.
Video from ringside security shows Navarro, 37, ducking as he passes the 14-year-old as she crosses the road as he starts trying to talk to the girl.
A would-be predator, without wanting to, starts having sex with cops
The teenager told police Navarro asked her where “nearest McDonald’s” before randomly inviting her into his car.
Refusing his offer, an unfazed Navarro asks the 14-year-old for her number.
Wanting to get out of the situation as quickly as possible, but without putting herself at risk, the teenager “I thought wisely to punch my mom’s cell phone number into his phone,” the police said.
Later that day, Navarro called the mother’s phone, believing it was the teenager.
By then, the teenager’s mother had already handed over the phone to the police.
Detectives then struck up a conversation with the alleged predator while pretending to be a teenager.
“The conversation became increasingly graphic, with Navarro describing and asking about specific sexual acts without any regard for the age of the victim,” the police said.
“Can you keep our conversation private?”
Shared images of the alleged texts between Navarro and officers show he wants to “pictures” and keep their own “convo” a secret.
During the call, Navarro repeatedly asked to meet the teenager, calling the number up to 30 times.
Investigators said a few hours later, they picked a meeting spot, only for Navarro to meet the cops who arrested him.
“Here’s a prime example of a young lady who was quick to think on her feet and do the right thing!” the department wrote, praising the 14-year-old girl.
“We at the Glendale Police Department applaud this young lady for her courage and smart thinking!”
Navarro was booked in Maricopa County Jail on charges of luring a minor for sexual exploitation and attempting to engage in sexual conduct with a minor, according to the department.
He is currently being held on $250K bond.
