Arizona welcomes Kamala Harris and Donald Trump on Halloween – KTAR.com

PHOENIX – Campaign season and spooky season collide in Arizona, with both presidential candidates appearing in the state’s Halloween battleground.

First, Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee, will hold a midday rally Thursday at a west Phoenix concert venue.

About five hours later, former President Donald Trump, the Republican nominee, will be interviewed by Tucker Carlson a few miles away in Glendale.

It will likely be the presidential candidates’ last visit to Arizona before Tuesday’s general election. However, this will not be the last time the state welcomes a candidate for the White House.

In fact, both vice presidential candidates will be in the Grand Canyon State on Saturday to make one last plea to late voters.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Waltz, Harris’ running mate, will make campaign stops in Flagstaff in the afternoon and Tucson that evening. Meanwhile, Ohio Sen. JD Vance, Trump’s running mate, will speak at an afternoon rally in Scottsdale.

Here’s what we know about the presidential candidates’ Halloween plans:

Kamala Harris was joined by Los Tigres del Norte in Arizona

Harris’ rally will be held at the Talking Stick Resort Amphitheater, an outdoor venue with seating for 20,000 attendees.

The final stop on the Vice President’s “When We Vote, We Win” tour will feature a concert by Grammy Award-winning norteño band Los Tigres del Norte.

Anyone wishing to attend must RSVP online. Doors open at 9:30am and guests are encouraged to arrive before noon or they may not be allowed in. Harris is expected to speak shortly after 1 p.m. before flying to Nevada for campaign events in Reno and Las Vegas.

Tucker Carlson to interview Donald Trump

Trump’s appearance will not be among his usual rallies. He will sit down with Carlson to wrap up the conservative political commentator’s national tour at the Desert Diamond Arena, which is about 6 miles from Harris’ rally site and has a similar capacity.

Some tickets were still available Thursday morning, mostly in the upper deck and starting at $20 plus fees.

The event will begin at 6:00 p.m., but attendees are encouraged to arrive by 4:00 p.m. to go through Secret Service checkpoints until show time.

All proceeds will be donated to hurricane relief, Carlson said.

We want to hear from you.
