Scottsdale, AZ – Learjet 35A crashes at Scotsdale Airport on Saturday, killing one person and injuring three others. The aircraft is reported from the track after being reported to land, colliding with a Gulfstream parked aircraft.
According to the federal aviation administration, two pilots and two passengers were aboard Learjet. One person was trapped in the remains before the rescue crews removed them.
The officials confirmed that Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil owns Learjet, although he was not on board. His representative issued a statement offering condolences and thanked the first respondents.
The National Transport Safety Council is investigating the investigation. Authorities have not released the identity of the participants. The Airport of the Airport in Scottsdale remained closed for hours after the crash.
