Ram Talk

  • The week that was: Colorado hosted the six -year -old match as a RAM game on Saturday, in which she partnered with Uchealth to honor local cancer warriors. Aries engage in Warriors at various events in the weeks leading to the game, and during the game CSU puts the Warriors names on the back of its T -shirts. Despite the incredible day, Colorado was distributed 75-71 loss in the hands of the Air Force, only the third loss of the home for the Aries season.
  • Protect the scale: Rams do a lot of good things, but one of their secrets of success is actually something they don’t do: turn the ball. The Rams lead the nation at least a match per match in each of the last two seasons, coughing it only 9.1 times per game in 2023-24. Despite the new list, this trait has surrendered to this year’s team, as Aries abandoned an average of only 9.1 rpm, which is again at the top of the country. Green and gold are one of only two teams in Division I to an average of 10 rpm (Minnesota) and has three matches this season with less than five rpm.
  • Among the best: Emma Rancer This season was one of the best rounded players in the country with its ability to influence the game in many ways. Ronsiek is one of only 13 players on an average of 19.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists against Division 1 opponents this season, joining the likes of women’s basketball stars Judju Watkins (South California), Hannah Hidalgo (Notre Dame), Flava Johnson (LSU) and Lauren Bets (UCLA).
  • 60 border: Colorado was one of the best defense teams in the Mountain West, holding opponents up to only 37.0% firing from the pitch (1st in MW, 35th on a national scale) and holding teams up to 61.1 points per match (3rd in MW). 60 is the target number for Rams defensive, as 12 of their 15 wins this season came when they hold their opponents under that sign.
  • Make rain: Colorado State is deadly from deep this season, turning 35.5% of their 3-point attempts, leading MW and is 35 on a national scale. The 3-indicator is a large part of Rams’s offensive gameplane as they make an average of 8.2 deep-play shots (3rd in MW). Emma Rancer., Hannah Rancer and Khan Simen have lit it from the distance, as each of them shoots better than 35% of the distance and combined to make 125 of 181 3 CSU indicators this season.
  • Do not place them on line: Aries did not waste its chances on the free throwing line this season, shooting 77.8% of the line as a unit that was first in the mountain West and 19th place on a national scale. The CSU transfers couple from Division I has been one of the best free-throw shooters in the country in the last few seasons. Emma Rancer It was the 12th Best Sagittarius of the charity last year, making 122 to 137 attempts (89.1). Khan Simen It was sixth in the country with 91.2% clip (104-114) in 2022-23, but did not take enough attempts to qualify for a national ranking last season.
  • National spotlight: The CSU game against New Mexico will be broadcast on a national audience of FS1. This is the first national TV game of Aries since February 25, 2023, when they played on FS1 against Wyoming.

Scout

The Destinee Hooks and Vianè Cumber tandem is one of the most fruiting duots in the league, combining up to an average of 33.0 points and 10.3 struggles per game.
  • Boise State Broncos: Boise State’s Quartet of Guards Featuring Natalie Pasco (12.8ppg), Tatum Thompson (12.0ppg), Mya Hansen (8.8ppg) and Dani Bayes (8.5ppg) ) Offers A frightening presence in the protective end.
