Ardeer Thistle claims the rights of boasting with derby with a sound victory over Irvine VICS – Ayrshire today

Sean Kenny’s men have leaked comfortable 5-1 winners in Irvin, as Stephenston’s country stated that Derby’s boasting rights – and avenged their defeat in the reverse attachment earlier in the WOSFL third division.

However, Arder struggled in the first half and managed to equalize through the ex -husband of VICS Owen Denham just 15 minutes later.

The result remained the level of the break, but Thistle started in the last half hour to ask for what was eventually convenient three points.

Thomas Miller scored the first of four goals for the second half with 64 minutes of play before Thomas Donovan doubled the advantage only five minutes later.

The strikes in the last five minutes of the Callum wardrope and a second of Donavon have put the scorch shine added and put the game without a doubt.

Speaking to the team of social media of the club after the match, Arder Kenny’s chief praised his country for their reaction to go for a goal behind.

He commented: “VICS started far better than us, you can say that there is a spark from Ben (Carson) who enters.

“They achieved their goal, it was disappointing to us, but then we achieved the goals and improved afterwards.

“We have been half -polished and the second half I thought we were good. We continued and pulled away from them, so I am delighted with the boys. ”

He now hopes that his country will be able to continue his positive performance, which saw them collect seven points from their first three matches of the calendar year.

He added: “We returned more players, we had quality players on the bench – that was a problem for us.

“This is nothing complicated, we knew it wasn’t good enough, but there was a reason for it.

“Everything is going well right now and we must continue to upgrade this.

“This is a good running, we should have been difficult to do, but we feel good. We will need different presentation, but this is what we are more than capable of doing. ”

VICS chief Carson was left with a lot to think and told the social media club team that the lack of match fitness was worth his men after a positive start to the meeting.

He said, “This is a disappointing assessment. I thought it was a game of two halves. The first half I thought we were really good.

“We were not suitable enough to continue this in 90 minutes. We started a second half, but I reached 50-60 minutes I felt that we were died.

“I don’t think it was a game 5-1, but Arder had that little legs on us. Their submarines changed the game for them.

“We have to put them in these matches and more ash and installed. There are definitely things to work with. ”

Former Meadow boss, however, says he is enjoying the challenge hiding in front of him.

He added: “This will be a challenge, we look forward to it and the first thing is that we want to keep the club in the division.

“We want to build quickly and try to get into the bodies, we want to add some legs and young people to it.

“This is a project we look forward to and the club has a special place in our heart.”

Ardeer will now look like he will make three bounce wins while traveling to face Finnart on Saturday, February 8th.

Ervine Victoria will seem to bounce on the same day they travel to take the University of Glasgow.
