Arch Manning says he has not “did enough” to deserve celebrity treatment – Sports Illustrated

While Arch Manning is the starting defender of Texas Longhorns, A is a role that undoubtedly comes with many benefits, such as fame, zero and for better or better, pressure, he still feels as if there is a lot to prove.

Although there are only two careers under his belt so far, Manning is already expected to be # 1 when he really announced the NFL project, not to mention that he is among the favorites to win the Hayissman trophy next season.

Manning explained in a recent interview with ESPN that he did not think he deserved the over -and -fame that came with the beginning of his career in Texas.

“I think a lot of undeserved attention,” Manning said. “But let’s hope that in the next few months it gets more deserving. I don’t think I’ve taken enough to take a lot of pictures at restaurants and sign autographs. But maybe that’s it in the end.”

“Unjustified attention” obviously stems from his surname. He is indeed a nephew of Peyton and Eli Manning, who are the sons of the legendary Archi Manning. The youngest man recognizes this. Yet, even with the proverbial football royalty in his blood, he still feels as if he has not yet won his place.

He is one step closer to getting his chance to start winning attention. He will start his third career on August 30, when he will bring Longhorns to Columbus, where they will take on the state of Boukes in Ohio.

It will be a rematch of the cotton bowl last season, in which Becty has won 28-14 over Longhorns. The game turned out to be the latest game of Manning’s predecessor, Quinn Eurs’s college career.
